Why does bill kaulitz wear a cross

But they announced it and suddenly Interscope marketing executive Bob Johnsen just punched me as hard as he could on the arm. The band and most of the audience were similarly dumbstruck. Yet no one saw the need to interrupt singer Bill Kaulitz -- the one who looks like a cross between a Bratz doll and a cockatoo -- during his incredulous acceptance speech. One suspects many in the Tokio Hotel camp have been sporting similar injuries during the past four years.

A deal with Sony BMG followed. And there, frankly, the story should stop. It hit No. But Bill essentially matured overnight when he revealed his new look. And I applaud Bill's willingness to change his look and keep things interesting -- who among us hasn't grown bored with our hair or overall look? So, inspired and intrigued by Bill's new makeup, and knowing that a lot of Tokio Hotel fans like to dress like Bill, I got in touch with my friends over at M.

I can't bring you a new Tokio Hotel single, a sneak preview of the new album, a studio visit, or another sit-down interview with Tokio Hotel and a bag of yummy gummi candy yet! I thought you had Spike hair? Yes, I do now. But I had masses of long, black hair for years. I just got fed up with it. Oh, and I'd never heard of this guy until this thread either. Well i was on nowthatsmusic. Well if you look in his profile picture you'll see a picture of him with white hair. But What is it that Defines what type of reaction you choose to give Quasi?

Bill and Tokio Hotel are very popular actually, there like There armies of awkward tween girls will do anything to get them on top. Including creating programs to vote for them over and over again so they can top internet based poll's and such. Different people will react to different styles and fashions in different ways. Aesthetics are about as subjective as it gets. Who Dresses how he Dresses Looks the way he Looks I like Bill Im not a FAN per-say For Keeping up the "image" Image is a Big thing in the Entertainment Industry Look at people like Dolly Parton Do all Country Women have Hair that big?

Billie Joe Armstrong Maryln Manson Do you Do you think I have seen behind the scenes stuff before and seen him without all the makeup, with his hair down And he seemed pretty normal to me Just a Guy with long hair and a Pretty face Its just the Image that Appeals to him, and Works for that fans Their music is the other part that gets him paid, and its "ok" but i dont listen to it actively.

As for the people who dress "Eccentricly" in todays world Instead of telling them "What do you expect, when you dress like that?

You wouldnt Ridicule a Scottish kid who wore a Kilt to school would you? Thats their Culture Same goes for people of the Hindu Culture They have a VERY colorful culture Becuase its not the Norm in Modern Day America Its almost like people are afraid of Change Anything that isnt the Norm Anything Different But its the Variety that keeps the world going No matter how extreme Im taking it to a pretty broad perspective but The Point is still the same This is one of those "Dont judge a Book by its cover" Moments I dont suppose alot of the people who insult, or degrade Bill has ever met the guy But I dont think anyone has taken the time to think..

He is young I love how there is So much speculation if he is Gay or not You cant infer if he is gay or not entirely based on his Image But That Fact dosnt make me Different from the next gay guy We are Still going to both be gay You can only judge people on facts, not Opinions You Shouldnt Judge anyone other than a Criminal. Why do you type like that? I like his aesthetic and music but not his voice live.

The people that dish out mean spirited comments about someone's physical appearance are really saying a lot about themselves. That they're awful human beings that aren't worthy of respect or anything for that matter from anyone. And I did not mean for it to look like i was attacking her What is it About those kinds of people that seem to most of the time draw a Negative Reaction Yea, You are Right. But Is the Idea of It Right? Is it right to look down on someone just becuase they are different The awnser is a Given.

That Also brings me back to what I said before. Not "Can you do it? I admit that the way you dress, and carry yourself in public is important. Especially If you were seeking employment, or anything like that. Its Sort of like a First Impression without actually talking to someone. IMO, you never know They Could be the most hyper, wacked out person on the planet Or they could be very down to earth. People Are different, I just think its sad that alot of people feel that there is a Line to Cross, Ya know?

How Much is TOO much? How high does your tolerance level go? He just make the Lion style or like to put hair spay in front of a ventilatior? Kidding Well He have a nice style and I never heard, but looks like they have a nice music, since they was at Vma and win something that I don't remember But I think he wears much make-up and He looks Avril lavigne japanese or chinese, dunno where he's from version He is sooo thin, his legs is so thin Well is a style. At least looks like the womans like.

Btw is he gay? It depends It depends from people and from the society you're in. For instance, I'm very lucky to live in a city where you hava e strong Heavy Metal community, so dressing differently is not a big issue. I've already received a very negative feedback, but I don't pay much attention to it, but when someone gives a good opinion about my style, it actually makes me feel good with myself.

It's pure self expression nothing more. Which is not the case of Tokio Hotel, since they're a mainstream band sold out to the masses and their image is wayyy too poseur for me to even care. It's just a fake style. But for those who are saying this Bill looks like a woman People should be open minded about this issue.

Clothing is just clothing, hairstyle is just a hairstyle, we just live different lifestyles from each other - is really that something to blame? If you think it is, go eat a cookie ; And in answer to somebody - why sould there be a "too much"??? Don't like it, don't watch it, end of story. And obviously no-one is going to see a good job dressing like that ; C'mon I said it's not only because of that. I don't like either his music or his band. He goes on my nerves and that's it.

If you think it is, go eat a cookie ; What? Why does the name of the style matter? If he looks like a broad, he looks like a broad. That's not being closed-minded - That's being matter of fact. If the intention of this style is to look like the opposite sex or merge the sexes together, than by folks saying he looks like a woman, he has achieved his goal.

So really, this movement needs us to criticize or analyze the style. Otherwise, what's the point? And see, that's problem I have with a lot of these arguments saying "Just accept it as the norm. If people wanted to be accepted as the norm, they wouldn't dress differently. The whole idea of these outrageous looks is to garner attention and reactions and to stand out of a crowd, otherwise there's no point.

And I'm not saying it's bad to want to look different--sometimes that yields fantastic results and shifts in society--, but people who choose these looks need to understand that you cannot demand to be different and yet insist on being just like everyone else at the same time.

At least not right away. Yet we have people in the 'real world' who beat up other people because they don't like the fact that a person is gay or dresses a certain way. I don't disagree with that.

Certainly no one needs to be physically harmed for how they dress, but there's a difference between not liking a style and that.

I don't like how this Tokio Bill dude looks with his crazy anime hair. I don't find it attractive or aesthetically pleasant or anything like that. But hey, I don't like Crocs for the same reason, and those are totally in. Yet I doubt anyone would be judged as closed-minded for talking about that. Like I said, I do think we need more tolerance.

But at the same time, I also think we need to stop saying that just because someone doesn't like something, that automatically makes them intolerant. Anyone can say 'hmmmm I don't like tight jeans' the difference is saying, 'hmmmm I don't like tight jeans because it makes you look gay'. After reading the thread about a member getting beat up maybe I am just needing to feel the 'love' towards mankind.

You know what I mean? Their choice. I'm from Germany and Tokio Hotel keeps annoying me since I already learned the sad truth about his gender back then. You Dont Like the look? Or you dont like the Person Becuase of the Look? I would Much rather dislike someone becuase of the way they act, than the way they look. There is a Fine Line when it comes to Tolerance How Do you Respond in a Non-Negative way? Would you call him Insane to his face?

Say he Looks like a Girl? Say you hate his hair? Tell him he looks like he is Nuts? If So, Why??? Why not "You Look fine, But Dont ask me It's Just not my style But That dosnt mean that we shouldnt Take into consideration, someones feelings. How can someone seek to individualize themselves, but at the same time, avoid being insulted and isolated by other peoples Opinions. I dont think you can. If I Dye my hair pink Why should I have to expect to be called gay?

If I wear all black, Why should I have to expect to be called "Goth"? I dont act "Gay" or "Goth" in the sense I might just Happen to like the color pink, and like Black Clothing. This is all just hypothetical though I don't think I've ever disliked someone based purely on their appearances, but in the same token, I'm not going to pretend that I am purely above physical apperance.

I'm not. Most people aren't. It some cases, it's certainly sad and it would be great to move on from that, but appearances are important.
