Where to get bugs skyward sword
Players can either use a bug net or slam Link into the wall nearby to stun the bugs, then pick them up off of the floor. Because of the need for bugs to be in kind of a precise location for the slam method, it's best for players to find Beedle's shop in Skyward Sword and buy a basic bug net instead.
The net will cost Link 50 Rupees, but it is well worth the investment. Players can even upgrade the basic net with a few ingredients at the Scrap Shop, just like they can do with the Bomb Bags from Skyward Sword. They will just need an Evil Crystal, 3 Tumbleweeds, and 2 Ancient flowers along with their bug net to get the big bug net, an upgrade that makes catching bugs easier.
In order to catch bugs, players need to equip their net. Then, they will need to sneak up on the bug by using the slowest movement speed possible. Simply equip the Net, angle it so you can swing it through the bug you want to catch, but be careful to go slow. Fast movements will only serve to scare bugs away.
